I heart my birthday present

My friends Abigail & Andrea gave me these vinyl letters for my birthday. I put them in my foyer and I LOVE THEM!!! Thanks, girls!

Our Saturdays these Days

These days, we spend at least an hour at the ball park on Saturdays. Tate has been waiting to play ball for so long and now that he's finally old enough, he is loving every minute of it. And so are we. Derek is helping coach and my friend Joni and I are "dugout moms"...which means we will be helping the kids with the lineup- making sure they are ready and that they bat in order. Its a thrill a minute watching Tate have so much fun out there and watching Derek with all the kids.

Brit, Ellie and I stay behind the fence during practice...it has been hard on Brit though because he wants to be out there so bad. Derek makes sure that Brit has his own "practice" though. He will start soccer in the fall, we just felt like one kid, one sport, one season at a time was what will work best for us for now. Next year they can be on the same baseball team so that will work out great.
